Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of COVEN AI's website and AI intelligence report services. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
COVEN AI provides AI-generated digital intelligence reports including SEO audits, speed audits, social presence audits, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) audits, local business audits, copy and conversion audits, and competitor intelligence reports. Reports are generated automatically using AI tools and delivered by email.
2. Ordering and Payment
- All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe
- You will receive your report by email within 24 hours of payment confirmation
- If you do not provide a valid URL at checkout, we will contact you by email to request it
3. Refund Policy
Due to the automated and immediate nature of AI report generation, we are unable to offer refunds once a report has been generated and delivered. If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery, contact hello@covenai.io within 48 hours and we will investigate and re-deliver or refund at our discretion.
4. Free Scan and Free Tools
We may offer a free website scan or other free tools from time to time. These are provided on a best-efforts basis, as-is and without warranty. Free tools carry no service level agreement (SLA), no uptime commitment, and may be withdrawn or modified at any time without notice. Results from free tools are indicative only.
5. Acceptable Use
You may only submit URLs you own or have authorisation to analyse. You must not:
- Submit URLs of third-party sites without their permission
- Use our reports for any unlawful purpose
- Resell or redistribute reports without written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or automate our ordering process
6. API Usage
If you are granted API access to COVEN AI services:
- Key responsibility — your API key is personal to your account. You must keep it confidential and must not share it with third parties. You are responsible for all usage under your key.
- Rate limits — API requests are subject to rate limits which will be communicated to you at the time of access. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension of access.
- Fair use — you must not use the API in a way that unreasonably burdens our infrastructure, circumvents our billing systems, or facilitates bulk data harvesting. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate API access where fair use is violated.
7. Nature of Reports
Reports are generated by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. They represent AI analysis at a point in time and should not be treated as professional legal, financial, or technical advice. COVEN AI accepts no liability for decisions made based on report content. Search engine rankings and business outcomes are affected by many factors beyond our control.
8. Intellectual Property
Reports are licensed for your personal or business use. You may share extracts internally. You may not publish or sell report content commercially without written permission.
9. Monitoring Subscriptions
Where you purchase a recurring monitoring subscription:
- Recurring payments — your subscription fee is billed monthly (or as otherwise stated at checkout) in GBP via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Minimum term — monitoring subscriptions have a minimum initial term of 3 months. You may cancel at any time after this period, but no refund will be issued for the current billing month.
- Cancellation — to cancel, email hello@covenai.io before your next billing date. On cancellation, monitoring will continue until the end of the paid period, after which your score history will be retained for 30 days then deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
10. Uptime and Service Availability
We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime for our services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, and circumstances beyond our control may affect service availability. We do not offer SLA credits for downtime.
11. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have: violated these Terms (including the Acceptable Use policy); engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour; failed to pay any amounts due; or caused harm to other users or to our infrastructure. Where possible we will notify you before suspension. In cases of serious or repeated abuse, suspension may be immediate and without notice.
12. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, flood, fire, earthquake, pandemic, war, terrorism, industrial disputes, power failures, internet outages, or failures of third-party service providers. If such an event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected service by written notice.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, COVEN AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our reports. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant report.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
